Our mission is to provide as many children as we can with a bicycle helmet. We want to inspire and empower children to utilize proper safety measures when doing outdoor activity such as riding their bicycle. Our mission also includes creating awareness of Brain Injury and providing resources to individuals and their families.

TJ'sWarriors, Inc. was inspired by TJ Floyd and his fight back after Traumatic Brain Injury. On April 21, 2010, at age 7, TJ was riding his bicycle when he wrecked into the back of his brother. He flipped over the handle bars and hit his head. TJ was not wearing a helmet. He was rushed to the local Childrens Hospital where he underwent emergency open brain surgery for a severe brain bleed. TJ spent 63 days in the hospital and ended up having multiple surgeries. In June of 2010, TJ was released to go home to start his new life after brain injury. His family dedicated over 7 years of therapy, surgery, and multiple doctors visits to help TJ  recovery as much as he could after his brain injury.

Along the way, TJ and his family recognized the importance of brain  injury awareness, as well as helmet safety awareness. After hitting many hurdles, they along with other like minded individuals realized the lack of services and events for survivors and their families. TJ's Warriors, Inc. is a team of individuals who are volunteers that want to make a positive impact in children's lives and in the lives of current survivors and their families. The mission of TJ's Warriors, Inc. is to protect children from brain injury one helmet at a time. We focus on helmet and bicycle safety in the community as well as spreading Brain Injury Awareness. Because we are run strictly by volunteers, we encourage and welcome all who wish to help with our cause. If interested, please use the contact us form.
